LITERACY ASSESSMENT & DYSLEXIA SERVICES

I have been a qualified teacher for over 27 years and have worked predominantly within the area of Special Educational Needs for the last 15 Years.  I am passionate about ensuring all students are given the right opportunity to achieve their full potential. I have a deep understanding of the Education System and a wealth of experience teaching students with varying needs. I have taught in the classroom environment as well as small group support and on a one-to-one basis. As an experienced dyslexia assessor and teacher, I am perfectly placed to be able to advise Senco's and teachers after assessments on the best ways to progress a student's learning. Having worked with numerous students with learning difficulties I understand the barriers to learning they may face and the challenges they may face as a result of this. I have the experience and knowledge to suggests strategies that will help students attain their learning goals as I fully understand what is needed to support better progress.

My experience also extends to university students. I am able to assess for dyslexia, providing a report that meets DSA requirements and I also support students with their study skills and guide them successfully through their university course.
